Zhonghua Xu and other co-authors published an article in the Journal of Geophysical Research exploring the diverging effects of geomagnetic storms in March 2013 and March 2015. Investigating storms that occurred during similar solar illumination conditions allows researchers to isolate the effects of particular GMD phenomena.
